O opóźnieniu wdrożenia informowałem już kilkukrotnie, w tym we wcześniejszym wpisie z 10.02.2023. Poniżej jest przedstawiona informacja o postępach w tej kwestii i planowanym wdrożeniu dla listy rankingowej 2023/4.

System rankingowy ICCF
05.08.2023: Aktualizacja na Kongres 2023
Kongres ICCF w Glasgow w 2022 r. zatwierdził ważną aktualizację systemu rankingowego i klasyfikacyjnego ICCF. Ponieważ rankingi zawodników przenikają prawie wszystkie aspekty bazy danych serwera, a sposób zarządzania rankingami na serwerze znacznie się zmieni, wiąże się to z poważną aktualizacją serwera.
Ze względu na złożony charakter tej aktualizacji, przed jej wdrożeniem na serwerze, wymagane jest przeprowadzenie szeregu testów, a także równoległe testowanie obliczeń arytmetycznych w niezależnym systemie.
Od czasu Glasgow członkowie Komisji ds. Kwalifikacji i Ocen oraz nasz profesjonalny konsultant ciężko pracowali, aby ukończyć tę pracę, w tym sfinalizować i uzgodnić specyfikacje techniczne, zdefiniować harmonogram testów i zaktualizować serwer testowy.
Z przyjemnością informujemy, że jesteśmy w końcowej fazie projektu, nowe oprogramowanie zostało zainstalowane na naszym serwerze testowym i już prowadzimy testowe obliczenia z wykorzystaniem nowego systemu.
Nie chcemy ogłaszać ostatecznej daty wdrożenia, zanim nie będziemy mieli pewności, ale nie jest wykluczone, że lista rankingowa 2023/4 będzie korzystać z nowego systemu.
Zostanie to publicznie ogłoszone po pomyślnym sfinalizowaniu testów.

ICCF Ratings System
sobota, 5 sierpnia 2023: Update for Congress 2023
ICCF Congress in Glasgow, 2022 approved a major update to the ICCF ratings system. As player ratings pervade almost all aspects of the server database, and the way in which ratings are managed on the server will change significantly, this involves a major server update.
Because of the complex nature of this update, a significant testing programme of many of the server functions, as well as parallel testing of the arithmetic calculations with an independent system, is also required before we can confidently release the server update.
Since Glasgow, members of the Qualifications and Ratings Commission, and our professional consultant have been working hard to complete this work, including finalising, and agreeing the technical specifications, defining the testing schedule, and updating the test server.
We are now delighted to announce that we are in the final stages of the project, the new software has been installed on our test server, and we are already running test calculations using the new system.
We do not want to make a final announcement about an implementation date before we have some certainty, but it is not now out of the question that 2023/4 will use the new system.
A public announcement will be made here when this is finalised.
