Krystyna Radzikowska (1931-2006)
(born of Hołuj, on 1931-02-05 in Lviv, died on 2006-11-29 and was buried in Bytom, the city that nurtured the ancient traditions of Lviv, at the cemetery near the house where she lived)

She was the strongest Polish lady chess player for many years. Titles: LIM-1995 (ICCF), WGM-1984 (FIDE). She was 9 (!) times OTB Lady Champion of Poland (1951, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1966, 1969), she won also 2 silver madals (1968, 1976) and 6 bronze medals (1954, 1958, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1978). She played for Poland 5 times in the Women’s Chess Olympiads – won 2 individual medals: gold (Emmen 1957) and bronze (Skopje 1972). She won bronze medal playing for Poland on board 1 in 4th ICCF Ladies Olympiad final (1992-1997).
Była najsilniejszą polską szachistką przez wiele lat. Tytuły: LIM-1995 (ICCF), WGM-1984 (FIDE). Była 9 (!) krotną mistrzynią Polski w szachach bezpośrednich (1951, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1966, 1969), 2-krotnie zdobyła srebrny medal (1968, 1976) oraz 6-krotnie brązowy medal (1954, 1958, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1978). Grała dla Polski 5-krotnie w Olimpiadach Kobiet – zdobywając 2 medale indywidualnie: złoty (Emmen 1957) oraz brązowy (Skopje 1972). Zdobyła również brązowy medal drużynowo grając w drużynie polskiej na 1 desce w finale 4. Olimpiady Kobiet ICCF(1992-1997).

This is server event with time control of 30 days for a game, followed by 1 move in 3 days (with duplication after 20 days is used). The tournament was initiated on 2015-01-08 with start date 2015-02-05 (which is birthday of Krystyna). There is no end date.
Games are automatically scored as a loss if a player exceeds his thinking time or violates rule 3b.
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.
Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the six piece tablebase.
The public can see the games live after 10 games are finished in the event. Live transmission is delayed by 5 moves.

Polska federacja zorganizowała Memoriał Krystyny Radzikowskiej kategorii 12 (Rśr=2530) z udziałem 11 zawodników.
Jest to turniej rozgrywany za pośrednictwem serwera ICCF z tempem 30 dni na partię + 3 dni na każde posunięcie. Turniej został uruchomiony w dniu 2015-01-08, oficjalna data startu to 2015-02-05, która jest rocznicą urodzin Krystyny.
Publiczność może śledzić partie na żywo po zakończeniu 10 partii w turnieju. Transmisja na żywo odbywa się z opóźnieniem 5 posunięć.

Prizes for this event were established by Wojciech Krzyżanowski, MD-PhD. He is excluded from potential money prize winners.
Prizes:
- 1st – 600 EUR + medal + certificate
- 2nd – 300 EUR + medal + certificate
- 3rd – 100 EUR + medal + certificate
In the event of a tie for a prize, rule 7.2 of the ICCF Tournament rules will be followed: (a) number of wins by each tied player in the tournament, (b) points evaluation by the Sonneborn-Berger-System, (c) results of the tied players against each other. If there is still a tie, prizes in question will be combined (if applicable), and split between the players in question.
