ICCF Diamond Jubilee Webserver World Cup 18 – status of the entries as of 11.08.2011

Please see below for the latest registration and status update. Don’t wait! Apply for entry immediately! Only 3 weeks left!

Details of the ICCF Diamond Jubilee Webserver World Cup 18 at: http://www.iccf-webchess.com/Message.aspx?message=358

With just three weeks remaining before 1st September 2011 closing date, we have 476 qualified entries from 389 players from 46 countries, including 42 entries from titled players (1xGM, 10xSIM, 31xIM), with the highest rating 2574.

Detailed report on the entries you can find at Polish cc website under “Status of the entries” subpage (http://kszgk.com/?page_id=1596), especially designed for that purpose. Reports are published regularly and here you can find various summary tables.

All players are invited to apply, newcomers to ICCF and experienced players as well. Players may enter in the usual way through their National Federations (NF) or, where eligible, via the ICCF Direct Entry system. Entry fee is a regular one for a world cup (http://www.iccf-webchess.com/Message.aspx?message=336) and depends on NF (if applied through NF).

Excellent prizes (prize 2000€ for the first 4 players) and special qualifications for a World Championship, much more beneficial than usual (because of ICCF Diamond Jubilee) are available in this tournament!

The winner of the Diamond World Cup will qualify for a World Championship final, next three followers (place 2-4) for World Championship Candidates! This is the easiest way to win so high qualifications!

Don’t wait, just go to “New events” and make application (through DE or NF)!
