On 04.08.2012 the last game of WC30/ct07 has been finished and GM Stephan Busemann (GER) gained the first place and promotion to World Championship final.

Nine participants of MT-Bielecki Top played in ICCF Olympiad 17 Final. This event has been finished on 12.08.2012 with final result:
- Germany-61 points out of 72
- Spain-60
- Italy-54
On 05.08.2012 the last game of ICCF Olympiad 17 Final board 1 (very strong tournament at cat.15) has been finished and GM David Lafarga (ESP) gained the first place and supported by his colleagues silver medal for Spain (2.GM Joel Martín Clemente, 3.GM Pedro Drake Díez de Rivera, 4.GM Miguel Angel Cánovas Pordomingo, 5.GM Francisco de Asís Velilla Velasco, 6.SIM Manuel Jesús Bescós Anzano).
German golden team line-up was: 1.GM Maximilian Voss, 2.GM Peter Hertel, 3.GM Arno Nickel, 4.GM Stephan Busemann, 5.GM Hans-Dieter Wunderlich, 6.GM Gerhard Müller (Osnabrück).
