FIDE Congress in Krak\u00f3w<\/h4>\n

ICCF President, Eric Ruch from France, participated in\u00a0FIDE Congress in Krak\u00f3w<\/a>\u00a0in the period of 20-21.10.2011.<\/p>\n

On\u00a020.10.2011 in the evening, after congress meeting\u00a0in Hotel Europejski, he was welcomed by ICCF\u00a0Delegate to Poland, Mariusz Wojnar, and Polish cc player from Cracow, Piotr Walczak.<\/p>\n

We could\u00a0discuss differences between OTB and correspondence chess for a while\u00a0with two Polish hosts –\u00a0IA Andrzej Filipowicz\u00a0and President of the Polish Chess Federation, Tomasz Sielicki.<\/p>\n

Then substitute of the city attraction was presented during short walk in the Old Town. We\u00a0had nice time in \u201cJama Michalika\u201d (established in\u00a01895),\u00a0the most famous caf\u00e9 for artists, very well known for almost one hundred years.\u00a0Here most outstanding artists have met, here the cabaret „Zielony Balonik” began to exist and here the spirit of\u00a0„Mloda Polska” was born.<\/p>\n
