Krak\u00f3w Airport<\/p><\/div>\n

John Paul II International Airport Krak\u00f3w-Balice (Polish: Krak\u00f3w Airport<\/strong> im. Jana Paw\u0142a II) (IATA: KRK<\/strong>) is an international airport located near Krak\u00f3w, in the village of Balice, 11 km west of the city centre. The airport has\u00a0the second\u00a0biggest passenger flow in Poland.<\/p>\n

Krakow Airport connections<\/a>\u00a0include 53 destinations (49 international and 4 domestic) with 11 operating airlines. Current timetable can be found at the airport page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The venue is 16 km (by car)\u00a0east of Krak\u00f3w Airport.<\/p>\n

Possible ground transportation from\/to the airport\u00a0are: urban rail, buses, private car or taxi.<\/p>\n

Train<\/h4>\n

Krak\u00f3w Airport railway station is aprox. 200m away from the international terminal (T1). For travel between the terminals and the station, we advise you to use the free Shuttle Bus service.<\/p>\n

\"Balice<\/a>

Balice Ekspres<\/p><\/div>\n

The Shuttle Bus awaits at the rail station and transports passengers between the international (T1) and the domestic (T2) terminals and then comes back to the station.The train service is the fastest link between the centre of Krakow and the airport.<\/p>\n

The urban train „Balice Ekspres” operates between Krak\u00f3w G\u0142\u00f3wny (Krak\u00f3w Main railway station) and the Krak\u00f3w-Balice Airport railway station; frequency – almost every half an hour between 05:00 and 22:24. It takes around 20 minutes to get to the city centre and costs 12 PLN [around 3EUR]\u00a0(one way) or 20 PLN [around 5EUR] (return – valid 30 days).<\/p>\n

Bus Service – public transport<\/h4>\n

Krakow Airport is served by two regular bus lines: 208 and 292 and one night line: 902. These are AGGLOMERATION BUS LINES. Frequency – almost every 15-20 minutes between 04:50 and 23:05.<\/p>\n

  • ticket machine at the bus stop<\/li>\n
  • additionally, ticket vending machines can be found on 292 line buses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Then you need to take one change in order to reach venue. You can exit at the last stop Krak\u00f3w G\u0142\u00f3wny and then take tram or bus to the hotel.<\/p>\n

    However, it is much better to take bus line 292 and exit at Cracovia stop, then take bus line 179 travelling into direction Kurdwan\u00f3w and exit at the stop Most Grunwaldzki<\/strong>, around 150 metres from the hotel Park Inn. Travel from the airport to venue by bus with one change may take about 45 minutes.<\/p>\n

    Tickets and faires:<\/p>\n

    We advise to take Zone I+II Aglomeration short-term ticket at least 60-minute – price 5,00PLN.<\/p>\n

    Taxi<\/h4>\n

    Taxi should usually cost around 60PLN (around 15EUR).<\/p>\n

    Please be very careful \u2013 ask taxi driver about price first!<\/p>\n

    Hotel Park Inn transportation<\/h4>\n

    Transfer from Krak\u00f3w Airport to the hotel might be provided by the hotel Park Inn – 85PLN (around 20-25EUR) – one way, if requested during registration. Number of passengers is 4-6 and depends on luggage – more luggages less people.<\/p>\n
