ICCF Diamond Jubilee Webserver World Cup 18 semi-finals\u00a0started on 2013-08-30<\/strong> with closing date of 2015-04-01<\/b><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There is 12 semi-final sections (13 players each,\u00a0in total\u00a0156 entries) and the section winner will qualify for a 13-17 player final (including former World Cup winners). Special invitation was addressed\u00a0to winners\u00a0of the ICCF Golden Jubilee Final tournaments (\u201cICCF 50 Jubilee Email Final<\/a>\u201d and \u201cICCF 50 Jubilee\u00a0Postal Final<\/a>\u201c)\u00a0in order to bridge\u00a0both 50th and\u00a060th Anniversaries of ICCF. The winners \u2013 Mr. Csaba Jergler (HUN) and Mr. Yoav Dothan (ISR) \u2013 were invited for the final stage. GM Yoav Dothan confirmed his participation already.<\/p>\n

All unfinished games are called for adjudication. The players involved shall submit their claim (with the required result \u2013 win or draw) and supporting analysis to their TD for adjudication no later than 2015-04-15<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The adjudication will be organized in such a way that all qualified players will be known by 2015-05-15<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The final\u00a0is expected to start as soon as all qualifiers are known (Q2\/Q3 2015).<\/p>\n

Statistics<\/h4>\n

The semi-finals of this World Cup started on 2013-08-30 with\u00a0156 players in\u00a012 server sections and now ended on 2015-04-01.<\/p>\n

The first completed game is the game Lins, Thomas \u2013 Ilyin, Pavel Egorovich in\u00a0section\u00a008 ended on 2013-08-18 with a draw.<\/p>\n

Evgeny <\/span>Podvoysky (RUS)<\/span> from section\u00a010 is the first player qualified to final stage (on 2014-07-04). He also gained IM norm.<\/p>\n

After the end date (2015-04-01) we have 98% completed games (range from 90% to 100%) –\u00a06 sections out of\u00a012 finished play. See below more statistics.<\/p>\n

We know\u00a011 qualified players for the World Cup 18 semi-finals until now.\u00a0Most of them confirmed their participation already.<\/p>\n

Should there be any non starters or unexpected withdrawals, the final might be completed by players from a prioritized list of reserve (those sharing 1st place). Some of these players might be contacted (if applicable) by TO Mariusz Wojnar via e-mail who will be offered any vacancies which arise.<\/p>\n

List of reserve will be employed until October\/November 2015 (more or less).<\/p>\n

Adjudication<\/h4>\n

After the end date of the semi-finals (2015-04-01<\/strong><\/span>) there were 33 unfinished games. Until now 14 games were\u00a0adjudicated and 6 games allowed to play and 13 games (from sections 2 & 7) are still under adjudication.<\/p>\n
